A facility to offer infrastructure for verification work. Run with support from Swelife.
The Testa Centre opened in August 2018 and offers infrastructure for verification work. The goal is a creative and open environment in which academic groups, start-ups and larger companies can verify technical or biological projects in an authentic bioprocess facility.
The establishment of the facility was backed by the Swedish government, Vinnova and GE Healthcare. The ambition is for the Testa Centre to contribute to making Sweden a global leader in the production and research of biopharmaceutical products. The facility is located in Uppsala and runs as a not-for-profit limited company, fully owned by GE Healthcare.
